Position Summary:

The ICT Sales Executive is accountable for increasing company revenue by being the Trusted Advisor to current and new customers by positioning Epic’s products and services with a specific focus on Monthly Recurring Revenue. In this role you will utilize consulting skills, strategic account planning, excellent selling skills, acquire leads though cold and warm calling, and bring the sales cycle to a successful close. You will also collaborate with sales channels to raise awareness of company products, to increase market share, and meet fiscal goals. It is imperative for this role that you utilize excellent business acumen, communication skills, and establish ongoing rapport with current and new customers.

 

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Generating revenue in each of Epic’s lines of business and hitting assigned targets in year through responses to RFx’s, opportunity generation and maintaining current Vendor of Record contracts
  • Collaborating with customer contacts, up to and including “C” level executives, to define needs, provide consulting services, and recommend the most appropriate solution to the customer
  • Demonstrating ability to identify and target new business sales opportunities and bringing to successful close
  • Creating and conducting in-depth sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value of the company’s IT products / services
  • Preparing professional proposals targeted to the clients, negotiating contracts, initiating orders and pursuing everything with energy, drive and a need to finish
  • Ensuring accurate and current records of sales calls, customer contacts and details of meetings
  • Attending sales and technology training as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Commerce or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferably at least 5 years of experience providing IT consulting sales and services
  • Strong knowledge in managed services, cloud/hosted services, security, professional services
  • Strong vendor partner relationships and knowledge about vendor products and services  (Eg. Cisco, CheckPoint, NetApp, Veeam, VMWare, HP, HPE, among others)
  • Experience responding to RFX’s (eg RFP, RFR, RFQ)
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and position the best solution, clearly articulating the value proposition of the service and solution
  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Experience with creating quotations and calculating margin or markup
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and navigate product and service delivery issues
  • Highly organized and able to effectively track sales activities (customer calls, contacts, meetings, etc.). Preference for experience using ConnectWise to manage activities.
