Purpose of the Job

The overall purpose of the Senior Financial Controller job is to secure compliant and optimized: Performance reporting for Performance Units (based on Grundfos GAAP) and statutory / tax statements for Grundfos Entities (based on local GAAP). This role will be based in our office in Bangkok, Thailand.

Responsibilities:

• Driving optimization and cost-effectiveness related to standardized, automated, and simplified global finance processes (to make it easier to work for Grundfos) 
• Driving compliance excellence within Finance Controlling and operational excellence for non-streamline companies
• Ensuring accurate and timely reporting processes based on the above accounting principles across performance units and legal entities
• One point of contact for Finance Business Partner organization related to all finance controlling and accounting matters

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Accounting or any relevant courses or an equivalent work experience
• Work relevant experience includes audit/accounting/taxation and has in-depth knowledge of international and/or local accounting and taxation legislation
• 6-8 years proven relevant work experience
• Deep understanding of the accounting principles. Understand how accounting principles affect financial reporting.
• Understand local/international accounting standards and integrate them into the internal controls and compliance processes 
• Ability to understand local/international corporate legal requirements and integrate them into the financial reporting where relevant.
• Ability to organize, coordinate and facilitate external audits 
• Understand the policies and conduct finance controlling per these policies.
• Ability to organize, coordinate, and facilitate monthly reporting in close collaboration with other Finance functions.
• Understand the policies and conduct finance controlling per these policies.
• Ability to use the following systems and understand the underlying data structures and flows at a sufficient level to fulfill the Job Role. Systems and applications such as SAP, BW/Analytic, TM1/Cognos, IBP, IPMA/PMA, and MS Excel
• Thailand Certified Public Accountant (TCPA) license is an advantage 
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
