We are currently looking for a passionate and results oriented individual to lead 5G MEC (mobile edge computing) and private networking 5G rollout.  This new position will work with numerous cross-functional teams to plan, execute and deliver 5G network capabilities related to MEC and private networking.    

 Job Duties/Accountabilities:
•    Partner with Product, Technology and Engineering teams for 5G MEC and private networking solutions. 
•    Plan and prioritize 5G technology roadmap items to support new service creation 
•    Assist in designing and defining product requirements and support early product deployments
•    Ability to translate customer/operational needs into actionable roadmaps and lead operational requirement through the project lifecycle (planning, execution, normalization)  
•    Create or influence process changes for repeatable and quality product delivery
•    Providing clear, concise, transparent, project communication and updates to a diverse set of stakeholders
•    Conduct market research, competitive assessments, cost / NPV studies, or other analysis
•    Participate in and support strategic planning process with each of  BCE’s business units
 
Critical Qualifications/Competencies: 
•    Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations 
•    Knowledge of 5G Network enablers, IoT platforms, Subscription SIM technologies, Connected fleet, Hyperscalers and other IoT solutions and services is preferred
•    BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
•    5 years of project management and/or working in a professional services capacity across pre-sales, and delivery or related experience.
•    Track record of excellence in strategic insight  / thought leadership
•    Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
•    Proven ability in organizing & leading a full-range of cross-functional strategy projects
•    Extensive knowledge / interest in telecommunications industry in Canada or comparable market
•    Creative and innovative with ability to work independently
