Senior Developer

Senior Developer   is responsible for reviewing and developing secure, scalable and maintainable functionalities in HCL Commerce (WCS) applications on Cloud based and on-premise application servers using recommended architecture and best practices to achieve faster time to market while ensuring platform reliability

• Responsible for providing Low Level Design (LLD) and development of various HCL Commerce (WCS) sub systems member management, trading, catalog management, order management, user management and all the data models
• Responsible for designing, reviewing and developing eCommerce functionalities in Agile (Scrum) environment using REST and SOAP services
• Responsible for setting up unit testing standards using Junit framework and also peer review of code
• Responsible for reviewing writing automation test cases for the functionalities developed using Selenium based framework
• Responsible for functionality as well as platform stability related development using best practices
• Responsible for analysing user stories, providing estimates, designing the solution and developing as per recommended design
• Responsible for providing necessary inputs in all the relevant scrum ceremonies
• Responsible for creating code repository adhering to the standards recommended by the Engineering team
• Responsible for triaging the defects in testing cycle coordinating with the testing team in addressing the code bugs

Education Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 8-10 years total experience of which at least 5 years in HCL Commerce (WCS) development
• Scripting Language : JavaScript, Dojo
• Agile Methodologies: Scrum
• Databases : DB2, PLSQL and SQL Server
• Tools : Eclipse, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence
