WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Digital Technology Operations team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBC’s ongoing plan to convert paper processes to digital. In this role you will be responsible for building out Angular interfaces for many capabilities. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Develop modern and dynamic user interfaces using Angular, Typescript, and other libraries and frameworks such as Bootstrap, NgRx, Lodash, Moment.js, etc.

• Pursue QA and test automation with Karma, Jasmine, and other test frameworks,

• Deliver work using Git and GitHub, and automation tools such as Jenkins, Helios and other CI/CD technologies,

• Deploy solutions in Docker containers to OpenShift Cloud Platform, an enterprise Kubernetes implementation,

• Manage tasks and communicate with team members using JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and Webex.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

MUST HAVE:

• Expert knowledge of front end development and web application technologies,

• 3+ years development experience with Angular 8+, TypeScript, and similar technologies such as React,

• Experienced with Observables, the Redux pattern, async, and other modern web app concepts,

• Experienced with responsive web design using technologies like Bootstrap, CSS flexbox, etc.,

• Experience using Git, Github, JIRA, Confluence, and working in an Agile environment.

NICE-TO-HAVE:

• Node.js v10+

• Springboot and Java 8/11

• Experience with technologies such as OAuth, APIgee, OpenShift, Docker, and containers,

• Experience with SQL and other database technologies
