Working in the Corporate Data team means working as a team, surrounded by experts, in order to offer expertise that has an impact on the development of the Bank's practices, tools or products. We manage a key data warehouse for the organization where several sources and consumers enrich and take advantage of the quality of our data to meet the Bank's critical needs.

Your role

• Ensure the management and monitoring of the different environments on our databases (Oracle - EXACC);
• Ensure the management of Virtual DBs and the virtualization tool for non-production databases (Delphix);
• Migrate or upgrade databases and related applications;
• Manage and monitor storage space in databases;
• Create and maintain database structures;
• Intervene as an expert in the event of incidents affecting one of our databases;
• Implement and monitor database performance monitoring tools using dynamic dashboards and optimize database performance;
• Prepare change requests to migrate new or modified database objects to various environments;
• Ensure the security of databases and implement measures in this regard;
• Ensure data integrity;
• Suggest and implement innovative and automated solutions allowing the team to achieve its Cloud and Dev-Ops ambitions.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and five years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the sector of activity and three years of relevant experience OR University certificate / PUB 1st cycle and seven years of relevant experience
• Experience in database administration
• Mastery of Oracle BI tools or TOAD for Oracle (essential)
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, essential
• Mastery of database virtualization tool (Delphix), an asset
• Knowledge of the financial services field, an asset
• Knowledge of Big Data environments, an asset
• Knowledge of GIT, JENKINS tools and the Atlassian suite an asset.
• Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English
