The Data Product Development Organization is currently seeking hard-working data engineers to work in the following areas:

Payment Systems Risk

Fraud and Authentication Services

Payment Security and Identity

Business Solutions

Loyalty and Marketing Services

Digital Marketing Experience

BI and Analytics

Essential Functions:

Design, code and integrate n-tier applications with different application components

Develop new products by building quick POCs and converting ideas into real products.

Collaborate with business and technology partners to deliver high quality products and services.

Strive to deliver zero defect code.

Communicate status, issues, and risks in detailed and timely manner.

Address problems with a with a strong automation approach.

Build and document procedures for installation and maintenance.

Mentor junior team members, develop departmental procedures and standards

Find opportunities for further improvements and refinements to standards and processes

Collaborate with global teams on software development.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

At least 3 years of relevant work experience with a bachelors degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience with a masters degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with software design, Data engineering, architecture and ETL data pipeline development life cycle.

Experience in developing large scale applications with highly distributed, scalable, concurrent, and low latency systems.

Experience with n-tier web application development and experience in Java/J2EE or other frameworks.

Experience in frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot, Sprint MVC, JPA, Hibernate.

Proficient in Web Services/API Development using SOAP or REST, JSON and XML.

Expertise with RDBMS systems like DB2, Oracle or SQL Server.

Expertise in Developing Microservices and Building Low Latency and High-Performance applications.

Experience in batch processing applications and work exposure to different types of data sources.

Proficient in GIT/Stash, Maven, Jenkins etc.

Exposure to ETL processing using Bigdata open-source technologies.

Experience in building CI/CD and test automation.

Experience in Payment processing systems is a plus
