We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to determine business intelligence, reporting and data analysis needs. You will work closely with business users and our IT group to transform data into information that will be used to make sound business decisions.

Your main challenges

• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
• Suggest innovative solutions for data management, analysis and development, as well as the production of tools to proactively manage business objectives
• Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Be a thought leader on new and/or improved dashboards to provide better insights to the business line
• Participate in discussions with stakeholders and help organize the sector’s dashboards and processes (communication, feedback, acceptance tests) 
• Participate in change management and coordinate the rollout of various solutions in the sector
• Keep business needs documentation up to date and collaborate with the various business, IT and support stakeholders
• Serve as an expert and representative for the business unit on various committees, mandates or initiatives
• Demonstrate attention to detail and diligence
• Define and organize tasks, responsibilities and priorities
• Demonstrate agility and openness to learning new tools
• Work with team members to achieve our shared vision, values and objectives

Target profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business administration, business intelligence, or information technology
• 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Experience with business process mapping, improvement and reengineering
• Excellent documentation skills
• Proficiency in SQL an asset
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, an asset)
• Excellent ability to analyze, summarize and communicate information
• Diligence and ability to take charge
