The opportunity

 Our International Tax & Transaction Services team are currently seeking Managers who are passionate about Transfer Pricing to support our clients in advising on business restructures, planning for new international projects, navigating tax authority reviews and managing compliance obligations.

 As part of our ITTS team you would have the opportunity to work across a range of clients, from large multinational companies across a broad range of industries to small start-ups.  Working closely with our broader international and corporate tax specialists across the EY network in Australia and overseas, you would be part of an integrated team striving to help our clients thrive in a global environment.

 Your key responsibilities

• Applying complex transfer pricing concepts and business/economic/financial knowledge to resolve client challenges
• Managing engagements and the day-to-day client relationship
• Reviewing transfer pricing analysis/documents/models prepared by staff
• Supporting Partners with complex engagements, including transfer pricing reviews, audits and Advance Pricing Arrangements with the ATO and other tax authorities
• Participating in meetings with clients and tax authorities
• Mentoring, training and developing staff

 Skills and attributes for success 

To qualify for the role you must have

• Minimum 5 years Transfer Pricing experience in a relevant role either from industry or professional services background
• Demonstrated experience in assimilating complex information and data sources to provide a succinct and well-informed recommendation to the client
• Strong teaming and leaderships skills with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to stay abreast of wider legal, economic, environmental and political factors that influence transfer pricing 

Ideally, you’ll also have 

• Undergraduate qualifications in Economics, Business, Finance, or Accounting
• Honours or Postgraduate qualification in Economics/Finance is desirable
• Healthy work ethic and teaming with colleagues
• A curious mind and knowledge of different business models across a range of industries
