The role of a Senior Business Development Executive is to support Business Development Managers in customer acquisition activity. The role holder is accountable for delivery of sales, account management, and communications and marketing activities in accordance with plan/s defined by the Business Development Manager/s
.Job OutlinePlan- Responsible for identifying, researching, qualifying, developing and closing new revenue opportunities through cold calls, networking and referrals.Deploy- Establish and build relationships within defined geographic markets that meet target criteria, work alongside the Business Development Manager to close deals and contract new clients,- Contribute to the development of the annual marketing and communications plans, complete assigned tasks in accordance with the plan,- Work closely with the product team to enhance content and travel descriptions for assigned markets.Lead- Contribute to the definition of targets and account management strategy based on yearly production of Tour Operators in conjunction with Business Development Managers,- Build relationships with travel partners and existing clients to generate leads and referrals, as well as setting activities to maintain and strengthen the cooperation with them.
Execute- Accountable for assigned sales targets for a portfolio of accounts and the achievement of associate revenue and profitability targets- Prepare reports on industry and market trends, and competitor activity for management team,- Attend trade shows, sales calls and events to promote the company products and services,- Create informative presentations, presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings,- Review all proposed communications to assigned market to ensure consistency with overall marketing and communications plan and sales strategy per market,- Input and maintain accurate records and up-to-date account/contact information on all prospects, target- Coordinate with and support in client’s interaction with internal departments to ensure successful accounts and new clients through the CRM tools- Keep records of sales initiatives and log those in CRM tool in order to measure ROI.
Qualifications- 12 Years schooling or equivalentExperience- More than 5 years of Commercial/Sales- Work experience in a sales, business development or account management role,- Preferred experience in both operations and sales and marketing within an accommodation wholesaler, bedbankTravel Agency, Hotel or service industriesKnowledge/Skills- Strong customer service skills,- Online Accommodation Distribution business knowledge is advantageous- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Applications and CRM tools,- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (additional languages will be a distinct advantage)- Ability to create engaging and professional sales presentations for delivery to external stakeholders,- Good commercial acumen,\- Familiarity with Country destination and product preferred,- The ability to speak publicly and interact with a diverse range of individuals internal and external to the organisation.
