Summary of the role

• As a business analyst, you'll be designing, documenting and maintaining software that empowers the heart of Amadeus travel solutions
• You would be working primarily along with global teams with complete ownership of your deliveries

Your main responsibilities

• Work with Product management (PM)/Scrum of Scrum/Tribe, write user stories, wireframes and user story narratives
• Analyze business requirements submitted by product management and prepare solution design
• Should be able to drive requirements phase and workshops with PM, white boarding and coming up with solution proposals
• Work with development team, attend scrum meetings, clarify open points and act as the single point of contact for multiple scrum teams
• Work with all stakeholders in a distributed product environment, anticipate issues, follow up with multiple development teams on critical path items and help expedite delivery
• Provide information to Product management as necessary for elaboration of business cases and RFP responses
• Carry out the functional walk-through of the product with the Development team and Product Management.
• Interface with customer during functional specification, testing and initial implementation phases as necessary.
• Able to work on technical solution for given requirements, ability to propose different approach for given problem and convince team or having meaningful discussion with all shareholders to finalize the solution.
• Experience in full software life cycle development.
• Should be able to do capacity planning and manage the product development within budget
• Validate feature and provide necessary approval for feature deployment in test and production system.

About the ideal candidate

• Education: University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Professional Analyst experience 5 - 10 Yrs
• Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
• Strong customer service orientation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Swagger/API development is a plus
