Based in the heart of the Christchurch CBD this business has an existing team of talented Designers, Architects and Technicians which pride themselves on delivering the best possible design solutions while having fun along the way.

Your new role

This is a newly created position for a Senior Architectural Technician. This role will see you being involved with several unique and specialised projects across both the residential and commercial sectors, enabling you to further develop your skills and portfolio and manage a variety of your own projects. You will work alongside the design director to take projects from concept through to working drawings and consent along with working with all clients directly.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 6 years’ New Zealand experience as an experienced Architectural Technician, where you will have a flare and passion for design and detail. As a Senior Technician, you will be in a position where you are required to manage and mentor less experienced technicians and graduates, therefore your ability to effectively communicate and manage expectations surrounding your projects is key. This design practice uses ArchiCAD and therefore experience in using ArchiCAD is essential.
