As part of this close-knit team, you will work as a senior application analyst with a number of partners who are committed to the success of Financial Markets. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring that users can operate in a secure and compliant environment. With the team, you’ll also act as guardian of our processes and procedures, which are constantly evolving due to new business opportunities and major initiatives.  

Your role:

  • Understand the issues of the business line and the Bank’s internal teams, provide solutions that comply with national and international regulatory constraints
  • Ensure compliance for audit requirements and regulatory projects
  • Experience with SaaS support
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of cross-border transactions
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the applications which support the business line (mainly Fiserv products)
  • Use your proven expertise in monitoring, investigating and resolving problems involving irregular and complex financial transactions
  • Represent and defend the Bank’s interests with external partners (service providers)
  • Play a leading role in optimizing existing processes

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience OR diploma and several years of relevant experience
  • Expertise recognized by our business partners
  • Experience and ability to interact with the service provider to conduct rigorous follow-ups, accelerate remediation of potential incidents and deliver the required improvements
  • Mastery of the business continuity process
  • High-level vision of the development cycle (SDLC)
  • Versatile, resourceful, proactive, curious and able to work under pressure and manage priorities
  • Team-oriented, thorough and able to communicate ideas and share information
  • Experience in national and international financial markets operations
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French)

Preferred competencies:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software including Excel (VBA, macros, pivot tables, dynamic tables, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of Fiserv modules
    • Navigator, Business Online
    • Access Manager (ACH Manager and Wire Manager)
    • XRoads, Web Director, WebCapture
    • Notifi, WC3
  • Knowledge of Remedy, JIRA, Confluence.
