Job Description

As a Senior Analyst within the Performance Monitoring and Analytics team you will be responsible for the delivery of data, information and insights across Acute Demand and Unplanned Care within District Health Boards (DHB). You will work closely with subject matter and technical experts to help understand and report on the drivers of hospital flow and Emergency Department attendance.

 

About the role:

  • You will be a senior member of a dynamic team of Analysts and advisors looking at areas for targeted improvement within DHBs and dedicated to improving health outcomes of all New Zealanders
  • You will ensure our internal and stakeholders are well informed with accurate, timely and insightful information and insights.
  • You undertake analysis and evaluation to identify opportunities and strategies for improvement while also explaining variation and issues within service delivery.

These are new roles that are responsible for delivering high quality outputs and insights around unplanned care.

 

Ngā PÅ«kenga me ngā Wheako – Skills & Experience: 

You'll need advanced analytical capabilities; significant experience in data extraction and reporting; and excellent written and oral communication skills. We also need someone with significant experience working across teams and building relationships with stakeholders.

Experience with, and an understanding of, hospital flow and ED is also preferred for this role.
