  • Rate of pay for this role is $101,831 + 5 weeks annual leave and a suite of free insurances

Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role 

This role is responsible for the identification, collection and analysis of information to support the development of asset management strategies and plans for Kāinga Ora. You will also be responsible for identifying and interpreting key trends impacting Kāinga Ora's housing portfolio, operating environment and strategic settings. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the thought leadership and market intelligence for the organisation. 

Communication is going to be key on this role so we are looking for someone who is a natural communicator that can take our data insights and clearly communicate that story to our people. Having an analytical background is a must, but we are looking for the right balance of someone who can bring their analytical skills, provide day to day support to the business, a can do attitude where you will go the extra mile for customers and managing the core outcomes and business needs. Your role will have you work with people from right across the business at all levels so you will need to be comfortable dealing and interacting with everyone.

Ngā pÅ«manawatanga ōu - What you will bring 

  • Relevant degree or equivalent and related experience which may be from property management, valuation, finance and/or strategic management fields
  • Experience in a property related field with a strong focus on strategic and financial modelling
  • Strong strategic focus and decision making skills
  • Understanding of social housing
  • Ability to build and/or interpret asset investment and budget models
  • Excellent communication and writing skills including experience in producing high quality documents and reports
  • Good analytical skills in order to analyse and provide options for the resolution of complex issues
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
