Job Description
The candidate's primary mandate will be to document requirements for the development of various modules, identify the needs of experts in different sectors by understanding their situation and the issues they face, ensure the delivery of features that meet their needs and the needs of our clients, perform the required acceptance tests and coordinate rollouts.
Your main challenges:
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the Institutional Markets and Trust Services sectors and of the context of the Global + project
- Understand business issues and identify client needs to support National Bank Trust and our partners in carrying out their projects
- Work closely with various teams in Operations, the business lines and IT
- Ensure project delivery by highlighting the needs of clients and of all stakeholders affected by the changes
- Work with experts within the team to ensure effective communications and change management for employees and clients
More specifically, you will:
- Gather information on, understand and document the business needs of National Bank Trust and various internal partners
- Document user stories for the various modules to improve the client experience, increase the accessibility of our services and digitize our processes
- Work with the Product Owner to prioritize the needs of teams
- Reflect on the adoption of new work methods in end-to-end business process mode
- Identify opportunities to improve processes (proactively and reactively)
- Perform various types of analysis (processes, data, impacts, risks, issues) and make recommendations to the team
- Perform various tests on an ongoing basis to ensure that deliverables meet requirements
- Be proactive in solving problems and business issues
- Support the project team in their change management activities
- Document the new business processes related to the implementation of the Global + project and contribute to forming teams
- Participate in client conversion activities by highlighting the needs of National Bank Trust clients
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and maintain partnerships with them on shared projects
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years' relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and three years' relevant experience OR University certificate/undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and seven years' relevant experience
- Knowledge of organizational complexities in a major financial institution and practical knowledge of wealth management products and services, management systems and technology
- Knowledge of institutional services, pension plans and management of service providers, an asset
- Knowledge of trust services (estate settlement, protection mandates, trusts), an asset
- Ability to challenge the status quo and suggest innovative approaches
- Experience in business analysis or process review
- Experience in Agile project management, an asset
- Ability to quickly grasp complex operational issues and make appropriate recommendations
- Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
