Your role: 

• Identify complex operational issues by analyzing information and seeing to their resolution by making recommendations within general parameters
• Act as a resource person in connection with various types of requests from internal and/or external stakeholders to the organization.
• Be on the lookout for new developments in your sector of activity and make recommendations for the evolution of processes, systems and ways of doing things, with a view to continuous improvement
• Identify and analyze the needs of stakeholders in order to ensure the design of systems, tools or work processes adapted to their situation
• Mitigate all the associated risks on the activity and solve technical problems by choosing the best solution among various possibilities
• Perform the validation of the various processes of optional events (Offers, plans of arrangement, redemption, and conversion privileges) and mandatory events (redemptions, splits and exchanges)

We offer the opportunity to work remotely. This position reports to the Manager. You will collaborate daily with a team of several experts including Sectors related to Operations, Business Partners, Traders at different trading desks.  

Required skills: 

• Three-year college or university degree or academic equivalent, and four years of relevant experience
• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written if required) in French and English
• Knowledge of securities and various financial products
• Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines and overtime if necessary
• Initiative, organization, speed and precision

Preferred skills: 

• Experience related to securities operations, desirable
• Knowledge of ISM, AS400, Global Plus, XSP, desirable
