Want to be part of change and the future of Aged Care in Australia, a future that ensures fair access to the optimal level of care and support for residents. Working in a full-time capacity, as Senior Assessor, you will be responsible for leading a team of Residential Aged Care Facility Assessors within a defined region to conduct high-quality, independent Residential Aged Care assessments for classification and funding purposes.

  • Oversee the completion of assessments within given timeframes
  • Carry a small assessment load
  • Collaborate with other practitioners in your team to accurately complete AN-ACC funding assessment tools
  • Provide in-situ clinical and problem-solving support to the Assessment team
  • Assist Assessors to achieve Unrestricted Assessor status
  • Be the key contact at the facility for the duration of the assessment period

Location
Based in Perth, you will be responsible for leading a team of Assessors across the Western Australia regions. Please note that there will some travel reimbursements for this position.

Why apply

  • Salary dependent on speciality and experience
  • Travel allowances and accommodation provided for overnight stays (when required)
  • You'll be part of the APM group of companies, a network of national and international health brands, offering an exciting path of career development for you to explore
  • Full, paid training provided and a strong support network to help you do your best

To be considered, you will need:

  • 5 years’ experience in aged care or a related area of health care
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Current unrestricted General Registration AHPRA
  • Demonstrated team leadership, development, and coaching experience
  • Demonstrated experience conducting clinical assessments using a range of assessment tools

...and soft skills related to motivation, organisation and working independently and as part of a team.

Apply today! to be considered and have a positive impact across the Aged Care sector.
