Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join a dynamic team of technology leaders creating agility and maximizing value delivery at scale. Reporting to the VP, Technology Delivery Management, the Agile Delivery Manager will support the delivery of large complex strategic initiatives spanning industry leading platforms in E*TRADE and Shareworks as well as the broader Morgan Stanley organization to bring best in class financial services products to market.
What will you do:
- Working with multiple product owners, agile teams, and the broader organization to improve transparency/visibility, remove blockers/impediments and support continuous improvement
- Developing relationships across Morgan Stanley, E*TRADE, and Shareworks organizations, engaging with technology, product management, and other functional areas to align on business priorities and ensure agile teams have a steady flow of work that is appropriately sized, refined, and prioritized
- Providing agile coaching to business and technology stakeholders and agile teams to foster an agile and continuous improvement mindset and improve overall value delivery
- Communicating up and across the organization to tell the teams story wins, accomplishments, and challenges
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- 5 years of experience working in an agile software development or technology environment
- 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or similar role within an agile framework where agile principles and practices were applied
- A pragmatic approach to agile delivery with an understanding of various agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe, etc.) as well as aspects of traditional project management including tracking, resourcing & planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and budget forecasting and results reporting
- Ability to collaborate and communicate (written and verbal) at all levels, from teams to senior and executive management
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically, navigating ambiguity, responding to change and driving effective outcomes
- A passion for building high performing teams, empowering teams to be at their best as a servant leader
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering and/or equivalent background
- Agile and/or project management certification an asset
- Currently located in or willingness to relocate to Calgary, AB
