As a Senior Advisor Technology Risk Management, you will report to the Senior Manager, Technology Risk Management and External Compliance. You will act as a technology risk management expert as part of the second line of defence and will work with IT and business risk managers, the first line of defence, and Internal Audit. Your job will be to monitor the risks associated with information security across the Bank, as well as IT-related business interruption for certain business sectors.

Your role:

• Carry out complex analyses and assess risks with a view to guiding stakeholders’ decisions
• Influence and structure the Bank’s orientations with respect to IT risk management and ensure the cooperation of the various parties involved
• Participate in drawing up IT risk profiles for the Bank’s various sectors
• Make recommendations and follow up on them in order to reduce the Bank’s business risks
• Contribute to updating IT risk management practices
• Do the quarterly report on technology risks for the business sectors assigned to you

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of IT risk management practices and normative frameworks (e.g., ISACA, COBIT, ITIL, NIST)
• Experience as an advisor to senior management (SVP, VP, SM)
• Excellent command of English and French, spoken and written

Preferred competencies:

• Critical thinking skills and political acumen
• A self-starter with strong leadership skills, able to summarize information and take charge
• Ability to communicate technical information to senior management
