Your role 

• Ensure the deployment of the Operational Risk Management framework and applicable policies within the WM sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with business unit risk managers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure monitoring of WM projects and proper risk governance.
• Conduct analysis, make recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure implementation of action plans.
• Contribute to the evolution of WM's risk culture.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Risk Management, Wealth Management, Daisy Dedeian and is in a hybrid mode with offices located in downtown Montreal.

This position is a temporary replacement for a 16-month parental leave.

Competencies required 

• Bachelor's degree related to the industry and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in operational risk
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (for dealing with English-speaking partners outside Quebec)

Preferred competencies 

• Knowledge of project management.
• Knowledge of Wealth Management activities
