As a Senior Network Security Governance Advisor, you will be able to leverage your increased network security experience in the areas of security governance and compliance (NIST 800-x, PRP, GDPR, ISO2700x, SOX, PCI DSS, Interac etc).

Your role:

• Define network security governance practice.
• Develop, review and implement network security frameworks and assess the maturity of network security controls and identify gaps.
• Contribute to network access compliance with the Bank's network security policies and to the improvement of network security processes.
• Produce, maintain and communicate network security indicators (KPIs and KRIs).
• Contribute to information cybersecurity control maturity audits (NIST or others);
• Implement and coordinate Agile workshops (Scrum) with key stakeholders regarding network security strategy and issues.
• Participate in the definition of the action plans necessary to achieve compliance.
• Contribute to on-premises and Cloud network compliance projects and to ad hoc interventions in support mode.
• Contribute to the identification of network security solutions and mechanisms and their impacts, based on business needs.
• Support (“Coach”), as needed, the targeted stakeholders to ensure the transfer of knowledge required in network security.
• Support cybersecurity training programs/actions.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Asset Protection, you will be part of the larger CISO Vice President team.

Competencies required

• Bachelor's degree related to the industry and 10 years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of several security standards such as NIST 800-xx, PCI, CSA, C2M2, CoBIT x, GDPR, HIPPA, ISO2700x, SOX.
• Ability to interact with representatives from different backgrounds.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a changing environment and to be innovative.
• Ability to write documents in a clear and structured way.
• Ability to work in a team and act as a “coach”.
• Excellent knowledge of some of the following:
  • Security of cloud computing environments.
  • Web technologies.
  • Microsoft, Linux or Unix systems.
  • Telecommunications systems.
  • Secure data transfers.
• French and English bilingualism, spoken and written.

Preferred competencies

• CISSP, CISA, SANS certifications and specialized network and cloud certifications, an asset.
• wWork experience in a banking / financial environment, an asset.
