Being a Senior Advisor – IT Sourcing means actively participating in the negotiation of various new products and services (strategic, IT or other) for the Bank. It also involves negotiating, renegotiating and drafting contracts of all types with suppliers in order to maintain strong ties.

More information about the role:
- Act as an expert advisor for stakeholders and executives from various business lines and support activities by offering high-level expertise
- Understand business issues, identify stakeholders' needs and suggest strategies by considering the varied nature of files in order to support the completion of activities
- Carry out various IT projects and mandates that have important repercussions on the profitability and efficiency of the Bank and its subsidiaries
- Coordinate the supplier's due diligence review (financial, IT and business) during the needs specification phase
- Manage requests for proposals
- Disseminate contractual agreements internally at the Bank and ensure that the various stakeholders at the Bank take stock of and understand them
- Take care of your professional development and keep up-to-date on best practices and new developments in your field of expertise
- Demonstrate expertise in managing the sourcing process from end-to-end as well as various stakeholders (initiative management), and promote the process and related tools
Competencies required:
- Bachelor's degree or completed master's degree in law, operations and production management, industrial engineering or administration as well as 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in negotiating contracts for products, services, outsourcing or various IT business models
- Experience with large-scale IT suppliers
- Experience in analyzing information from various sources (products, services, expenses, costs, markets, etc.)
- Proven ability to influence
- Ability to demonstrate innovativeness, creativity, curiosity and thoroughness in relation to the organization's needs and issues
- Ability to manage processes and multiple priorities
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, etc.), knowledge of Ariba, Yammer etc.
- Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French)
