Your new role and organisation

Your new role is in central Wellington, within a Ministry that works to provide a better future for our Tamariki.

This is a great opportunity to be a part of a high performing policy team that is helping to deliver on some exciting projects with both a domestic and international focus.

This team is in need of a Senior Adviser to come join the team on a permanent, full time basis with flexible working conditions.

Your new role you will see you will be work with government through negotiating and building multi-lateral relationships. This role will not only rely on your policy skills but also your stakeholder management and relationship building talent. This is your opportunity to advocate, network and change the future direction for one of our international sectors.

This Manager is also looking for a team member that wants a 6 month fixed term placement, being open to someone looking at part time work too.

What you'll need to succeed

In your new role you will ideally already be operating at Senior Advisor level or an Adviser ready to step into a Senior role.

Ideally you have:

• Experience in an advisory role
• Experience working in the international sector
• Attention to detail
• Ability to hit the ground running
• Strong ability to connect with all types of people and build lasting relationships
