Fire and Emergency New Zealand is a Crown Entity established on 1 July 2017 under the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017. The role of our new organisation is to reduce unwanted fires, respond to structural and vegetation fires and other emergencies including motor vehicle crashes, medical emergencies, hazardous substance related incidents, natural disasters and support increased community resilience.

About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Change Management Advisor to work in our newly established National Workplace Culture and Change Directorate. This role will see you flex your change management expertise and lift the Te Reo MÄori understanding of managing the people side of change and change capability of the organisation while supporting key projects.
You'll co-lead a discovery process to identify the function and form of the change management team and support priority change projects across Fire and Emergency New Zealand while working with key stakeholders, including Project Managers, Business Owners, and Sponsors.
You'll develop and implement change management plans while being supported every step of the way. Working across a diverse portfolio, including our positive workplace culture and volunteer strategy you'll be instrumental in lifting the change management capability across the organisation.
We are very flexible on location, so you can be based out of any of our Region HQ's or our National Office.
This role is covered by the Fire and Emergency New Zealand COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, with effect from 28 February 2022. This means that it is a requirement that this role is undertaken by a fully vaccinated person (or a person who holds a valid exemption issued by the Director-General of Health).
