Reporting to the Director, you will provide professional support to the sectors in order to promote their growth according to business objectives and ensure the maintenance and improvement of systems, tools and work processes. You will interpret data in order to provide useful information for decision-making. In addition, you will participate in problem solving as well as the realization of important projects.

More specifically, you will have to:

• Support the Senior Director in establishing his business plan and objectives, specifically by providing information on potential opportunities, as well as optimal solutions to mitigate risks and minimize operational issues
• Actively participate in various Industry projects (Lynx, IMF, etc.), having an impact on our Treasury Operations
• Represent the Bank on various industry committees
• Analyze and interpret financial data, explain discrepancies and ensure corrective action
• Identify and analyze the needs of stakeholders in order to design systems, tools and work processes that meet their needs and facilitate decision-making
• Forecast daily funding needs in order to inform the forex traders responsible for trading on the markets
• Communicate to your team the expected contribution, in line with the business plan and the established objectives
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes with your team and implement them
• Maintain close ties with the multitude of operational partners to ensure smooth execution
• Promote inter-team knowledge sharing in order to increase versatility (multi-skills) and thus minimize operational risks
• Be an ambassador and bring the values of the organization to life
• Carry out various special mandates, respond to ad hoc requests from its manager and those from partner requests or various audits impacting the team

Competencies required:

• Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and 7 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the sector of activity and 5 years of relevant experience OR University certificate / PUB 1st cycle and 9 years of relevant experience
• Excellent understanding and experience in financial market payment activities, in financial analysis and research and in liquidity management
• Knowledge of the banking environment and compensation systems
• Good knowledge of the products traded within the financial markets sector
• Excellent leadership and change management skills
• Dynamism, communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to work under pressure, versatility and rigor
• Good computer skills
• Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English, essential
