It's an inspirational and continuously evolving environment, unlike any other. And right now, we are looking for a Senior Adviser to join our Audit team. In this role you will oversee New Zealand's registered audit firms and conduct audit quality reviews to ensure firms are meeting international audit standards. 

It's fair to say that this isn't your average audit role. Instead it's an exciting opportunity for the right person where you'll form strong working relationships with stakeholders in registered audit firms. You'll assess auditor's compliance with auditing standards, make recommendations to address any shortcomings and provide input into policies and procedures for best practice.

To excel in this role you'll preferably be a CA or CPA with:

• Significant audit experience (PQE 6+ years)
• Experience in one of the major audit firms, Audit NZ or other relevant regulatory audit experience
• Confidence and ability to engage with and appropriately challenge senior partners of all registered audit firms
• Proven report writing skills
• Proven technical accounting skills
• Be agile and willing to learn new skills
