Senior Administrator

Senior Administrator  is responsible for installing, maintaining, optimising and supporting HCL Commerce (WCS) applications on Cloud based and on-premise application servers enabling optimum performance of the application and ensuring scalability with growing user base and functionalities

• Responsible for spinning up of HCL Commerce (WCS) non-production environments using automation scripts
• Responsible for building the HCL commerce package with custom changes on top of Out of Box (OOB) Image
• Responsible for validating a given managed AIX based infrastructure and Cloud (Microsoft Azure/GCP) based infrastructure
• Responsible for deploying the HCL Commerce Application onto the AIX based servers and cloud (Azure/GCP) based servers
• Responsible from HCL Commerce application migration from AIX based servers to cloud (Azure/GCP) based servers
• Responsible for monitoring the application & work on performance fine tuning.
• Responsible for LDAP configuration and SSL certification management
• Responsible for setting up Commerce utilities and incorporate the jobs in HCL Commerce (WCS) (e.g: dataloads/stageprop/IndexPropagation)
• Responsible for setting up Search indexes using Solr/Elastic/Redis/Google search functionalities
• Responsible for automating environment build using Python and Jython scripting

Education Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 8-10 years experience in HCL Commerce (WCS) Administration
• Scripting Language : Python, Jython
• Application Servers : WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
• Databases : DB2, PLSQL and SQL Server
• Tools : Eclipse, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
