Job Title:   SAP BW Senior Developer

SCOPE

Designs SAP BW solutions to meet business BI reporting and analytical needs for Purolator. Develops and maintains BW delivery and usage standards. Designs and manages the SAP BW tools and applications environment. Designs and develops applications interfaces, standards/policies, and adherence guidelines. Standardizes use of SAP BW tools and semantic layers throughout the organization including web interfaces or portals used to access SAP BW applications and data. Helps business and other end users select appropriate BW tool(s). Works with business analysts to ensure tight fit between BW environment and business requirements. Manage and work with SAP BW developers to build standard development processes and reusable components. Develops best practices on configuring and using BI tools for more productivity. Evaluates effectiveness of BW tools. Works with production support/operations to install, configure, deploy, and tune BW tools and analytic servers. Troubleshoots BI tool problems and tunes for performance. Supports development and management of BI training, documentation, and help desk capabilities.

DUTIES

•       Help Purolator move to S4 over the next year. Work with PCL business to move current SAP BW to S4.

•       Create/test an new Info Object Shipment Pin2 that affects over a 150 data sources

•       Support day to day SAP BW production environment for Purolator. Looking into data issues from the SCAN and revenue process. Verifying weekly audits, loads and critical reports.

DELIVERABLES

•       Convert PCL SCAN & Revenue process from Shipment Pin to Shipment 2 before Shipment Pin hit the 2 Billion record limit and stops loading

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

Must Have’s:

1) 10 years of SAP BW configuration experience (Senior Developer) and worked with BWA

2) 1 year for S4 experience

3) ABAP

Nice to have’s:

 Purolator Business knowledge
