Your role
- Be part of the team responsible for maintaining the SAP BW data warehouse environment
- Act as a resource person in the field of analytics
- Advise stakeholders in the application of related principles
- Support the needs of the business lines for the evolution of the Bank's analytical environments, supported by SAP BW and BEX tools.
- Provide technical support for the analytics platforms currently in production
- Analyze change requests, assess impacts on current applications, suggest and implement appropriate changes.
- Participate in SAP CRM analytics data access projects, for which you will be responsible for the analysis and functional specifications for these files
More specifically, you will:
- Design and program the extraction of data from source systems to SAP BW according to the specifications approved by the business lines
- Participate in the evaluation of estimates for various projects.
- Maintain SAP BW process chains to automate data loads.
- Respond to adhoc requests from users regarding analytics.
- Monitor administration consoles and servers to prevent production breakdowns.
- Resolve production breakdowns quickly and efficiently
- Document and detail the specifications of the SAP BW solution
- Participate and contribute to the code review and documentation of existing and new solutions
- Participate, document and validate tests and implementation phases to ensure the quality of modified systems
- Ensure the proper functioning, availability and reliability of solutions and the maintenance and availability of the infrastructure
- Follow up and resolve major problems. Investigate incidents that occur in production, find the causes and propose the appropriate corrective action
- Promote compliance with the Business Intelligence norms and standards established by the Sector.
Desired profile
- Completed Bachelor's degree, related to the business sector, and five years of relevant experience.
- Experience as an analyst in an analytical context (business needs, data analysis, functional specifications, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW
- 5 years experience with ABAP language
- 3 years experience with SAP BW
- Knowledge of the banking industry, desirable
- Leadership and initiative, ability to multi-task on multiple projects
- Critical thinking and synthesis skills
- Customer oriented and able to meet business objectives
- Be results-oriented
- Demonstrate professional rigor and attention to detail
- Have a good team spirit
- Autonomous and persevering, innovative, creative and curious
- Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English
