Sales Planner

Owns the sales planning process of creating a strategy for sales teams to achieve their goals, which means predicting future revenue based on current data past and future performance, which includes setting targets for each country or region within the line of sight and size the resources allocation required.The EL Building Solutions Sales Planner will be managing and analyzing the data required for supporting the sales development across the countries and the product mix development. Turns data into decisive information to engage internal decision-makers regarding country price position, profit potentiality, and organization sizing, with solid scenario simulation and enhance the results with a genuinely operative target setting, performance monitoring, coordination with front-end and back-end.

Your responsibilities

  • Strategy: Designs and executes an end-to-end economic feasibility plan for a given country or geographical area, basing the decisions of organizational sizing, price level, and economic sustainability on the market potential, to generate margin according to expectations of the company, with the related activities for involving the countries and the back end in the process
  • Business modeling: Design the plan for profit in each market. In collaboration with local and global teams, identifies the products or services the business plans to sell, its identified target channels/customers in the market, and outlines sales expenses required to achieve the goals. The business model should include relating to target customers, the market potentiality, organization size and challenges, essential elements of the product portfolio, and how it will be sold. Requires a (i) Revenue Model; (ii) Gross Margin Model; (iii) Sales Operating Model; (iii) Investment Model.
  • Forecast process. Improve forecast accuracy and establish a continuous process to manage the forecast preparation and communication towards the relevant stakeholders an ongoing, aligning the practices with the already existing procedures.
  • Scenario simulation: Implement a reliable and standard method of defining Building Solutions targets based on statistical calculation and support gap analysis (positive or negative) with a scenario sensitivity assessment.
  • Simulation tools: Support the development of simulation tools based on the ERP universe of data to measure sales performances, set targets for sales units, and forecast results according to the business controlling dimensions.
  • Analysis and reporting: Extract and analyze data from sales/financial tools to measure sales development progression and accuracy and provide regular status reports to relevant local and global management.
  • Continuous improvement and collaboration: Will partner with the sales, marketing, and product management teams to develop the plans necessary to meet the organization's revenue growth deliverables, according to the given strategy. Speed and agility in implementing programs and initiatives and deploying models and processes. Support the building of a community within the countries, continuous improvement program to share and learn best practices while supporting common practices.

Your background

  • Qualification in management or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, commercial discipline at degree level or equivalent.
  • The person should have excellent analytical skills, communication skills, customer service skills, research skills, presentation skills, strategic thinking skills, sales proposition skills, and be computer literate.
  • Experience of some 5+ years in controlling or quantitative marketing or strategic planning requires exceptional analytical skills and track of record in collaboration with other functions, including Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance.
  • Hands-on experience with planning practices and activities, including statistical analysis and simulation, sensitivity analysis assessment, forecasting methods, and application business planning. Familiarity with ERP processes, cost structure ma

  • Result orientated, Leadership and management skills, capable of standing in front of the management and engaging with external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
