About the job:
You will primarily support our road marking crew of category A or category B Type Operators who carry out long life marking and reflective pavement marking (RPM) installation.  You will also conduct STMS duties including site setup, maintaining traffic control, plating and other maintenance work as assigned.

You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe use of materials, supplies and equipment. Supporting the Downer Zero Harm culture, you will implement and adhere to H&S policies and procedure. You will also maintain positive relationships with customers, crews and the general public.

The role requires both night and day shift work, so the ability and willingness to work to a roster is essential.

• Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers licence
• Experience in or a keen interest in civil construction & roading
• STMS L1 Certification
• The ability to stay calm under pressure with good problem solving skills
• Have excellent verbal and written language skills and have the confidence to put forward ideas for productivity and quality improvements
