We are seeking a dynamic and professional retail assistant to join our current retail team in Timaru. The position is a part-time position, with a regular rostered shift of 8 hours per week (One shift), with extra hours when needed. In this position, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service to the standards that our company is known for. You must be organized, detail-oriented, and have a refined ability to engage with customers with an empathetic and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome customers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable work space.
Be attentive to customers, providing answers to any questions they may have regarding our products.
Assist customers with making informed decisions regarding purchases.
Re-stock and maintain product displays.
Assist with inventory counts and placement of new products.
Handle customer complaints and concerns calmly and professionally.
Ensure customers are well-informed on any current sales, rewards programs, and store return policy.
Process payments via our point of sale (POS) system, cash register, and EFTPOS terminal.
