Your key responsibilities
As a Resource Manager, you will be responsible for:
Business Partnering - partner with our leaders and stakeholders to drive performance by analysing trends across key performance metrics, including forecast, utilization and leakage; providing visibility and escalating to our leaders when required
Resource Management - Demonstrating best practice behaviour identifying and connecting people to the right networks or career experiences, increasing cross-team resource sharing, increasing use of our global delivery teams and appropriate use of contractors if and when necessary. Includes the ability to prioritise competing resourcing requests, manage resourcing clashes and to always be solution orientated. Supporting D&I outcomes, such as use of part-time resources, gender and culturally diverse teams.
Supply Management - proactively identify hot skills and trends, looking forward to anticipating skills shortages and surpluses. Engage with and support other supply channels to support business needs.
Leadership - modelling our values and the right behaviours to RM team members. Champion best practice resourcing across all ranks.
Bench Management - proactively support and strategically deploy available staff as soon as possible to client-facing engagements or appropriate business development to maintain overall productivity. Identify perennial bench dwellers and/or those who are commonly passed over for work and escalate into the performance management or L&D processes (i.e. know when to stop shoe-horning folks into work and calling it as it is).
Forecast Management - accurate use of key enablers and data quality to ensure a reliable SaT-wide forecast and reduce variances
Opportunity and Demand management - ensure seamless connectivity between pursuit teams and our available talent.
Change leadership and management - support new and existing RM initiatives and encourage new ideas, drive behaviour change and hold yourself and the wider RM team accountable to optimize overall business performance and employee engagement
Data Insights to drive change - use our data, tools and systems to recognize and understand RM trends, create insights, and develop recommendations for our leaders
Agile and Continuous improvement - leading the way in agile and innovative ways of working to drive creative solutions to our business' challenges. Drive adoption of enablers and new tools and rewarding the right behaviours.

To qualify for the role you must have
A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in sizeable organisations
Experience with talent development, resource management and/or supply & demand management within professional services or B2B environments
