What you will do
In this exciting role you will support the Organisational Research (OR) team to undertake planning and execution of major personnel research projects and strategic HR initiatives, research data management, and monitoring and reporting on internal and external trends that may impact the management of personnel in the NZDF.
You will also contribute to initiatives across the broader Organisational Development Directorate, including Career and Talent Management, Organisational Development and Defence Psychology. In this position you'll take the lead on some OR initiatives, whilst supporting colleagues with other initiatives within the OD team.
What we need
This role may suit a recent tertiary graduate or someone with early career experience in social science research or a background in conducting social science research and analysis.

The Organisational Research (OR) team conducts research that support NZDF's workforce of 14,000 people to achieve its strategic direction.
The Organisational Research team is part of the OD Directorate which also includes our Career and Talent Management, Defence Psychology and Organisational Development teams. The Directorate is part of the People Capability Portfolio.
