We are excited to be offering new positions for suitably experienced critical care Registered Nurses (RN) holding post graduate qualifications in critical care settings. Our nursing team offer specialist care for critically unwell children with complex surgical and medical conditions. As PICU RN, you will deliver safe, compassionate clinical care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team and families to achieve best outcomes.

You will work across a 24 hours/7 days rotating roster with opportunity to work 12 hour shifts with flexible rostering options.  You will have access to various supports to help you transition into PICU and have access to education and professional development opportunities. You will engage in reflective, analytical practice through effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of direct patient and family-centred care.

About You

What You Need:

• Current clinical nursing experience in critical care settings such as intensive care & emergency department (preferably paediatrics)
• A postgraduate qualification in critical care or emergency care (paediatrics highly regarded).
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal & professional development
• Current AHPRA registration
• Ability to work well under pressure & be flexible to changing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team & autonomously as required
