Permanent positions have become available for a Registered Nurses within our Patient Transport department at Whakatāne Hospital. Applications for full-time and part-time hours are welcome.

Applicants should have an excellent clinical practice record, great organisational and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a largely autonomous role.

The ideal applicant will have previous patient transport experience, be comfortable travelling in an ambulance and will need to be physically fit.

Experience in critical care, coronary care or emergency settings is an advantage. Some flexibility in hours of work is often required due to the nature of transport work.
