We currently have nursing positions available in our Operating Theatres.

Do you like a dynamic working environment?  Our theatre nurses have the opportunity to gain experience and have exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties, including Vascular and complex Laparoscopic Surgeries. Our acute Theatre runs 24/7 and we have an Orthopaedic Trauma Theatre which runs 6 days out of 7.

We have a large population catchment, which means our teams are involved in some very complex surgical procedures, both elective and acutely, hence the learning opportunities with us are vast.

Education and professional development are a priority for our team, we have dedicated education time for all of our nurses.  We will support and encourage you to advance in your theatre nursing career. Professionalism, care, improvement and teamwork are integral values for our department. We are looking for people with a “can do” attitude who share these values.

The wider Perioperative Team includes 7 theatres (soon to be 8), 15 bed PACU and Day Surgery Unit.  We cover all secondary public hospital specialties and perform on average 12,000 procedures per annum.
