If you are a Registered Nurse seeking variety and challenge, our busy general ward at Dargaville Hospital has permanent opportunities to join our hardworking, rural hospital team, where nurse's ongoing education is promoted and supported.
Dargaville is a small rural community in scenic Northland, with spectacular locations like Baylys Beach and Kai Iwi Lakes within easy driving distance. Our hospital has a 12 bed inpatient unit, with nursing support provided to our Maternity and Detox Units.
Northland DHB is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and holds stewardship for equitable health outcomes for MÄori as TÄngata Whenua as the highest priority.
Ideally you will hold a current practicing certificate, have recent clinical experience, the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, and excellent communication skills.
Rural nursing experience is highly desirable, though not essential. You will be required to work rostered shifts, which includes some weekend work.
