Job Description
The Bay of Islands Maternity Unit is a midwife-run, primary birthing unit in Kawakawa. We have an average birth rate of 200 births per year and most women accessing the unit already have their own LMC.
Northland DHB is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and holds stewardship for equitable health outcomes for MÄori as TÄngata Whenua as the highest priority.
We are looking for a core midwife to join us for a part time no fixed hours position. The job involves a mix of antenatal / birthing, post natal care and on-call hours.
We are looking for a well organised, flexible and experienced midwife with a current annual practicing certificate to join our staff.
