Your new role

You will be responsible for leading the Regional Assessment Team to deliver holistic client needs assessments, support planning, and referral and information services, of the Commonwealth Home Support Program. In addition to current program requirements, the position will play a key role in preparing for the aged care assessment changes stemming from major government reforms. 

This position can be based anywhere in Queensland and will be working from home with some interstate travel.

Who are we seeking? 

To be considered, you will be a senior leader with people and operational leadership experience and a working knowledge of the Aged Care Sector. Your application should demonstrate: 

• Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in a senior leadership role within the Aged Care sector or related field  

• Demonstrated understanding of the needs and issues facing older people and their family/carers  

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders 

• Demonstrated people leadership skills across multi-site or geographically dispersed teams 

• A sound knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth policy and funding arrangements 

• Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Allied Health or related field and experience in community aged and/or disability services is highly desirable.
