Reporting to the Head of People and Leadership, you will be the person in our team of 4 dedicated to sourcing, selecting and on boarding talent for all of EPL.
The role is broad and covers all aspects of recruitment and onboarding, including the design and implementation of new ways of doing things as we evolve our approach.

The salary range is $73,000- $105,000 plus up to 4% employer Kiwisaver contributions and we will appoint based on the capability you bring.
You will be joining a small team of 4 that works collaboratively, helps each other and has an impact well beyond our size. We work flexibly with the option to work from home up to 4 days a week. Generally we have one anchor day a week in our Wellington CBD office to bring the team together in person. You will have at least a few years recruitment and onboarding experience and have contemporary ideas about attracting, hiring and onboarding excellent people for a hybrid workplace in a tight employment market, and have the skills to implement these.
Experience designing and implementing new approaches or projects using customer centric design principles would be advantageous.
Customer centricity and a passion for providing excellent candidate and new hire experiences, along with making the lives of hiring managers easier, is essential.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to quickly build and maintain relationships with a wide range of people including senior leaders and candidates for a wide range of roles. You’ll be able to do this in person and remotely as we are a hybrid organisation where meetings are often held on Microsoft Teams.
We currently do not have a HRIS and a lot of our processes (approvals, candidate management and onboarding etc.) are done via email, so you’ll need to have the organisational skills to work with that.
