Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Developing the bank’s Recovery Plan and Resolvability Work Programme.
  • Interpreting and communicating technical regulatory knowledge including the BRRD, the SRB’s Expectation for Banks and various EBA Regulatory Technical Standards on Recovery Plans.
  • Coordinating resolution planning submissions.
  • Communicating with peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations.
  • Acting as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a global financial organisation an advantage.
  • Energetic and proactive attitude to work.
  • Comfortable working with new regulations.
  • Understanding of regulatory capital (including MREL) and liquidity ratios an advantage.
  • Team player who strives for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization.
  • Ability to manage workstreams in parallel and multitask.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
