Job Description

Dalton Consulting Engineers (DCE) is on an exciting growth path and looking for a Receptionist / Office All Rounder to join our team in Richmond!

We are seeking a motivated individual to provide front desk support, be the first point of contact for clients, ensure our Richmond head office is always looking its best and most importantly be the heart and soul of our unique and fun office environment. 

Your role may vary day to day, from organising social events (we love a theme!), to contributing to our business success and growth with administration assistance and support on new project submissions. You will report to a supportive Office Manager and be a valued member of a friendly administration team.

As the first point of contact for the business, we are looking for a friendly, and highly engaged individual with strong communication skills.

 

JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will:

  • Assist with a diverse range of administrative duties to support the daily operations of the DCE Office and team
  • Ensure the office and meeting rooms are always kept neat and tidy
  • Manage the incoming and outgoing of deliveries, couriers and mail to the team, 
  • Coordinate meetings on behalf of the team, booking rooms, attending and taking minutes as required
  • Arrange travel and itineraries for team members, including accommodation and transport
  • Assist in the generation, compilation and tracking of fee proposals, tender and contract documents, maintaining records all documents created and all submissions
  • Chairing and Championing #TeamDCE’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Social Committees

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

With minimum 2 years’ experience you will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to utilise a broad range of business IT solutions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Permanent permission to work in Australia
  • National Police Check
