Receptionist & Administration Assistant

Youth Focus is looking for an experienced Receptionist & Admin Assistant to join the team
- Part-time hours – 0.60FTE or 0.80FTE, dependant on candidate’s availability
- Fixed-term contract until December 2022, with possible extension
- Burswood location (Head Office)
In this role, you will:
- Function as the welcoming, safe and respectful first point of contact for young people and their families/friends accessing Youth Focus
- Provide Administration support to Youth Focus staff and visiting service providers at the Youth Focus Head Office including assisting with data entry across multiple software systems and managing appointment schedules
- Coordinate the administration of meetings, agendas and minutes as required
- Provide support in facilities maintenance and WHS
- Maintain client confidentiality and privacy at all times and work with clinicians to ensure that the reception area is as culturally safe and appropriate as possible
About You:
To succeed, applicants will possess:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with young people from a range of backgrounds
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in an admin role
- Demonstrated experience and expertise with Microsoft office applications, specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- A strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality within a healthcare setting
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously while also able to work effectively with other members of the teams
- Ability to work at least one late shift per week (until 7.30pm)
- Driver’s Licence and access to reliable vehicle
