Evening & Weekend Receptionist (Club Sunbury)

Club Sunbury is a local community club situated in Sunbury and offers the ultimate experience in entertainment, dining and hospitality. Our facilities include a Bistro,  Bars, Gaming, 2 outdoor lawn bowls greens and a covered green which is accompanied by a Concourse and Kiosk.

We also offer spacious social and corporate function rooms that can cater from 60 up to 200 people.

As the face of the Club, the successful candidate will have an enthusiastic, friendly personality coupled with a professional, courteous demeanor that enhances the visitor experience.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate areas of the Club
  • Maintaining the club's membership database
  • Answering member and visitor enquiries and providing information on the products, services and facilities of the Club
  • Answering, connecting and transferring telephone calls.
  • Handling of bookings and payments
  • Ordering of stationery and other related supplies
  • May be requested to perform other duties or roles as directed to satisfy the needs of the business
  • Entry requirements checking, such as RSA and COVID Checking with assistance from Security.

Essential Criteria and Skills include:

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Previous experience gained within a similar role
  • High standard of personal presentation and hygiene
  • Self motivated, reliable and punctual
  • Ability to multi task and work effectively within a strong team environment
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of reception and administrative duties
  • Ability to contribute to maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ability to complete manual handling tasks as required for the role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft programs, POS systems and membership programs
  • Experience taking and managing function bookings and payments
