We are a Bakers Delight Franchise located in Forest Lakes shopping centre in Thornlie.

We are looking for a Qualified/Experienced Baker. This exciting opportunity has become available for a hard working person with flexible working hours, to join the friendly and dynamic Bakers Delight Team. 

Anyone with previous baking experience as an Apprentice/Assistant Baker is also considered for this role. 

Applicants must be able to work Full Time hours on a rotating roster & have their own reliable transportation. 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Bake products in accordance with the Recipe Book
• Follow the production sheet as set by the Production Manager
• Monitor and control the speed of production to ensure product is available on time.
• Oven Work - responsibility to ensure products are correctly baked
• Dough Mixing - preparation of variety of doughs
• Deliver great quality product
• Cleaning - ensure the equipment is cleaned on a regular basis
• A passion for quality and consistency
• Customer focussed - delivering fresh quality bread to customer is our top priority

Qualifications & experience

• At least 3 years’ bread production experience (apprenticeship).
• Communication skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Knowledge of Food Handling and Food Safety.
