Program Structure:
The BBM Intern Program recognizes the diverse skills and interests of students, which is why it has three pathways to kick-start your summer career and secure a position in our best-in-class Graduate Leadership Program upon graduation.
These pathways will consist of several experiences that will expose you to roles in the following areas, over the course of our three-month program:
Emerging Technologies
- Technology Specialist (Cloud, Security, IoT)
- Business Intelligence Analyst
- Data Scientist (Data Engineering, Software Development, AI & Machine Learning)
- Product Consultant
Business
- Business Analyst
- Project Manager
- Marketing Specialist
Sales
- Sales Support Specialist
- Technical Sales Support Specialist
Depending on which role you are in, you may:
- Develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for next generation telecommunication products and services.
- Collect and analyze data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced customer service, increased productivity, and cost reduction
- Work with software architects, network architects, product owners, and developers to contribute to software design, integration and deployment.
- Work with cyber security experts to develop services that safeguards confidential customer and supplier information, intellectual property and other key data assets.
- Contribute to and continuously evolve the multi-cloud and hybrid cloud adoption and optimization best practices and tools.
- Partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies, and priorities
Upon completion of the summer program, you will have the knowledge of what we do, experienced what it would be like in the grad program, and built the skills required for a successful career in the telecommunications industry.

You should apply if:
- You are graduating in spring 2023 and currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, security, engineering, computer science, math/statistics, economics, business analytics, and arts.
- You are excited about telecommunications and have demonstrated curiosity, initiative, leadership and a passion for learning new skills.
- You are hard working and persistent in the face of challenges and opportunities.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- You have introductory experience or a desire to learn data tools/software and have familiarity with programming languages
