Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Public Affairs and working in collaboration with many partners, you are responsible for producing communications and contributing to reputation management as well as helping to ensure all activities run smoothly. The team moves at a fast pace and is focused on empowering and developing its members.

Your role

  • Draft and review press releases, speeches and various types of texts
  • Represent Public Affairs on various projects, be able to provide professional advice that will help with decision-making
  • Support the Philanthropy team in managing projects
  • Provide professional and technical support for public relations activities, including managing suppliers, coordinating media requests and issuing press releases

You will also:

  • Make sure that the communications under your responsibility are of excellent quality, both in terms of language and information accuracy
  • Demonstrate keen interest for teamwork and interpersonal relationships
  • Have an innate sense of diplomacy
  • Enjoy growing in a fast-paced environment where the unexpected is the norm

Competencies required

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years' relevant experience, or completed Master's degree in a related field and 3 years' relevant experience
  • Experience in communications, particularly as a writer
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and French
  • High level of professional judgment
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, organizational skills and strong work ethic
  • Collaborative spirit and flexibility
  • In-depth knowledge of current events and the major issues of the day
