The Project Capability Team are focusing on the future and modernising of our technology and the services we provide to help build and deliver the Toitū Te Whenua of the future.
We cover both major people and process change programmes and operational technology solutions for users of Toitū Te Whenua systems.
KÅrero mÅ te tÅ«ranga - About the role
This role will be responsible for working with Toitū Te Whenua business owners to guide projects throughout their lifecycle, through to solution delivery to meet customer needs. You'll be comfortable working in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall project environment, with a focus on delivering products and services that add value to our customers.
He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and flexible individual to join our Project Capability team as a Project Manager. This would be for a 12 month fixed term contract or we would consider a secondment option, to cover parental leave.
The projects all have spatial data components and having knowledge of spatial information or GIS systems would be beneficial. While the projects all have a Hydrographic / marine data focus, this specific experience is not essential.
This exciting position will be suited to an individual with initiative and a collaborative nature because you will be working with a variety of stakeholders across Toitū Te Whenua. Planning, meeting deadlines, working in virtual teams and keeping projects on track will come naturally to you and you will thrive in an environment where what you do has a real impact on everyday New Zealanders.
